First and foremost, I have co-written and recorded a demo of a song for my nephew Lance Corporal James W. Higgins, Jr. who died while in combat in Iraq on July 27, 2006. I wrote it with his best friend, James Michael (Mike) Campbell. It is entitled "Have You Learned to Fly?" My sister, Debbie Higgins (James's mother) is campaigning to build a national memorial for Fallen Soldiers at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD. On July 27th and 28th of 2007, CBS Evening News with Katie Couric covered the First Annual Lance Corporal James W. Higgins Memorial Poker Run" benefit of which I was taped twice performing ",Have You Learned to Fly?" I was taped at my sister's home and at the last venue in front of a live audience. The story is to air in a couple of weeks on national TV on the "The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric." Gunther Yogi" Lauke is interested in producing the song and another track with me. He is based in Germany and has had European hits with Fabrizio Levita (Pop Idol winner 2003.) He is also set to produce a duet between Fabrizio and the legendary Donna Summer. I may even do back up vocals. Yogi is pitching me to record labels in Europe.

I have also added some tracks here for an upcoming release later this year. They include "Everybody's Looking for something" (written with Noa Tylo and Dave Althen), "Michalis" (written by myself), and "I Never Knew" (written with Dave Althen and Warren Johnson). These were produced by Dave Althen for Human Factor.
